American Academy of Ophthalmology is a professional medical association of ophthalmologists. The logo adopts three blocks of shades in light-to-dark colors to portray 1) the ability to see both near and far and 2) progress and innovation. The functionality of the blocks can expand beyond the logo to text frame on book covers, brochures, and other editorial material.
